Slipknot's NZ tour to continue despite injury

Calm down maggots - heavy metal act Slipknot will still tour New Zealand in October, despite cancelling several European shows after the�band's drummer stone-broke his ankle.



Drummer Joey Jordison - i of the band's nine members - broke his ankle just now days ahead the band's European term of enlistment was sic to commence, forcing the masked metallers to delete several dates.


Doctors have told Jordison he needs to rest for between four-spot to six weeks.


But promoters today confirmed the band's New Zealand performance at Auckland's Trusts Stadium on October 22 would still go�ahead.


Slipknot volition perform with MachineHead at their entirely New Zealand show to promote their latest record album, All Hope Is Gone.


The band promised to retort to Europe in November to complete their hitch.�

British pop-metal outfit Feeder was formed in London by singer/guitarist Grant Nicholas and drummer Jon Lee, wHO 1st class honours degree teamed in the Welsh band Temper Temper. Originally dubbed Reel, the newfangled group's lineup was complete with the increase of Tokyo-born bassist Taka Hirose. After signing to Echo in 1995, Feeder issued their debut EP, Two Colours, followed by the six-track Drown; a series of well-received singles -- "Stereophony World," "Tangerine corner," and "Cement" -- expanded the trio's fan base of operations further, and in mid-1997 they launched their uncut debut, Polythene. The hit "Day In, Day Out" preceded the handout of Feeder's soph try, 1999's Yesterday Went Too Soon. Despite non spotting on in America, Feeder maintained their popularity in Europe. In 2001, after touring the world relentlessly, Feeder achieved their discovery pip in the U.K. with "Horse Rogers." The starting time single from the band's tierce record book album, Sound reflection Park, eventually hit act quint on the charts. Before the year's close, the band scored another Top 20 come to with the Just a Day EP and strike the route with the Stereophonics. Tracks for a fourth record album were already in the works when tragedy struck. Founding member Jon Lee committed self-annihilation in his Miami home in early January 2002. He was 33. Nicholas and Hirose byword it rig to stay on with Feeder, and they resumed recording with other Skunk Anansie drummer Mark Richardson behind the outfit. The Gil Norton-produced Comfort in Sound was released the next October. In August 2004, Feeder issued a fan-friendly B-sides collecting called Picture of Perfect Youth, and Norton was once again slow the boards for the Pushing the Senses LP, which followed in 2005. A year later, with tours of Japan and Europe below their belts, Feeder released The Singles in mid-2006. The career-spanning waiver gathered 20 tracks from the band's five previous albums and a blade fresh rails entitled "Lost & Found." Select shows in Milan, Berlin, and London opening for the Rolling Stones followed that summer.

Drug Bust On Snoop's Tourbus

Two members of rapper SNOOP DOGG's entourage were arrested on Thursday (31Jul08) after a drug burst on his tourbus in Dallas, Texas, according to reports.


State troopers pulled over the bus because it was sporting expired stickers, according to PerezHilton.com.


Sources narrate the famous person gossip internet site two people were arrested for marijuana possession, and taken to nearby Navarro County Jail.


Snoop was not arrested and is slated to perform in Dallas on Thursday as scheduled.
